Multi-colored pencils for the Princess Máxima Centre

The Princess Máxima Centre for pediatric oncology in Utrecht has a new attractive adventure playground for children and their families. CM3 custom-made created eight colorful pencils that are three meters high each.

Adventure playground for children and their families

The adventure playground is set up using the Athletic Skills Model, which focuses on ability, enticement and fun. The playground has been upgraded and now features a wheelchair trampoline, a large swing, a climbing mound with a slide and a sports ground.

The colored pencil tubes have been fitted with lighting, one of the specialties of CM3 custom-made. The indoor yard is bordered by patient rooms, overlooking the adventure playground. Due to the colorful illumination, the yard also looks really attractive at night.
